 Environment Layout and Asset List: When designing the layout of the environment I wanted there to be a staircase between 2 levels so I could place a large window to look out of onto the city when using the stairs, I also wanted the staircase to breakup the level a bit so the environment wasn't as flat. Environment walkthrough and Backstory: Backstory:  The Nightclub environment is set in a sci fi world in which humanity has colonized dozens of star systems. An authoritarian regime wrestles to maintain control of humanity from the clutches of entropy.  The planet this nightclub is located on is the system capital of one of the frontier systems, dissenting opinion is starting to take hold on this world and political instability is on the rise.    In this nightclub the player would play as an agent of the regime tasked with extracting information on a certain individual who is suspected of being involved with separatist groups, The individual is a regular at this nightclub.   Environment: Beginning of the level at the moment is between the stairs and sound booth, I chose this area because of its central location in the environment.  Inspiration and reference material: Overall Theme: My main inspiration for the prominence of the colour red in my scene was the Totentanz club from Cyberpunk 2077. The overall aesthetic for the club is very unique and striking due to its lighting and skull themed artwork throughout the environment. I chose brutalist architecture because of the focus on bare steel and bare concrete construction. Fleshing out Environment concept: Playable Environment: Sci fi nightclub with brutalist architecture (lots bare steel and concrete).
