Inspiration and reference material:
Overall Theme:
My main inspiration for the prominence of the colour red in my scene was the Totentanz club from Cyberpunk 2077. The overall aesthetic for the club is very unique and striking due to its lighting and skull themed artwork throughout the environment.

Architecture:
The architectural style of the building my environment is housed in is very much inspired by real world brutalist architecture that emerged in the 1950s in post-war United Kingdom. I chose brutalist architecture because of the focus on bare steel and bare concrete construction.

Bar Aesthetic inspiration;
Some the environments aesthetic is inspired by a bar I like in fortitude valley called the Greaser,
In particular I was inspired by the hanging car which I used as inspiration for the hanging monitors.
